Terms and Conditions
The short version: these tools are free, run in your browser, and come with no warranty — verify anything important before you rely on it, especially in a production system. The rest of this page covers the specifics.
// using this site
ToolSharp.dev's tools are free to use, require no account, and (with the one exception below) process everything entirely in your browser. By using this site you agree to these terms; if you don't agree, don't use the site.
share-pad's optional 6-digit code mode is the one feature backed by a server — it temporarily stores text you choose to share so it can be retrieved with a short code. Using that specific mode means you're choosing to send that text to a server. Every other tool, and share-pad's own offline-link mode, never does. See the privacy policy for the full detail.
// no warranty on tool output
Real effort goes into correctness — the JSON formatter's repair pass, for one example, is deliberately conservative about what it changes and tells you exactly what it did rather than fixing things silently. But "we try hard to be correct" is not the same guarantee as a warranty, and mistakes are still possible in any of these tools.
// limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ToolSharp.dev and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, this site or its tools — including damages resulting from data loss, incorrect tool output, or share-pad content that expires or becomes unavailable.
// acceptable use
Don't use this site to violate any applicable law, to attempt to disrupt or overload its infrastructure (including automated enumeration of share-pad codes — that mode is rate-limited specifically to deter this), or to scrape or republish the site's guide content as your own.
// advertising
This site may display ads served by third-party advertising networks. See the privacy policy for how those networks use cookies and how to opt out of personalized advertising.
// changes to these terms
These terms may be updated as the site changes. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision — continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
